Solahart Newcastle helped the Deep family by installing a new 9.76kW system with a SolarEdge inverter and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery storage system into their four bedroom home in Windella, as they wanted to reduce their energy bills, but also become a lot more self sufficient when it came to their energy reproduction.
This 9.76kW solar system delivers up to 43.92kW of their energy requirements each day and stores any unused energy for use at night, saving the Deep’s an average of $900 or more a quarter, with every energy bill coming in at under $100.The battery storage system was installed inside their garage to give them up to 13.5kW of energy if required.
The Deep family also replaced their gas hot water system with a Solahart Roof Top Hot Water System, helping them lead a more sustainable lifestyle.
